I started the Entrepreneur series back in early 2015 and was the first to bring an entrepreneur series to the vacation rental blogosphere because until then owners never really considered themselves business owners and much less entrepreneurs.

If you would like to be an owner or property manager of a successful vacation rental business then you’ll need to know the basics of business.

In order to help you, I’m going to take things back and start from the beginning.

We’ll talk about everything here including vacation rental marketing, but no sense in learning about marketing vacation rentals if we don’t know the fundamentals of a successful vacation rental business.

If you don’t have the proper business training you’ll just end up chasing your tail and falling short on both your profits and potential.

I believe that many of the problems owners and managers are facing today have to do with the lack of their formal business and hospitality training.

This short video is about the ‘umbrella’ of your vacation rental business.  ALL components of your rental business will fit under this umbrella.

Everything in your business can be hung on just three hooks. Think of anything in your business, and it will fit into one of these three categories.

What are they? Watch the video

I’m going to teach you how to create a better vacation rental, make managing a vacation rental easier and help you get the support you need to do it.

Once you know how to do that, higher bookings and rental income will come naturally.

The vacation rental blogs are a very noisy place where it’s hard to digest all the information out there.

I think one reason managers and owners find it difficult to apply what they learn on the vacation rental blogs is partly because the material is so random and there is no real starting point.

One week it’s blogging, the next listing sites then SEO but how does all of this fit into a vacation rental business and where?

With this course I am hoping to teach you the mindset and business practices that are instilled in real winners!

In the video I talk about the three things you will need to focus on to make your business successful. Improving your vacation rental business and profits starts right here.

I’m also going to share with you some tools of the trade, introduce you to the crown jewel of internet marketing, the 5 common reasons VR businesses fail and how to avoid some of the pitfalls of entrepreneurship.

Ask yourself.

  • Can I improve how I run my vacation rental business?
  • Do I have the support I need to do this?
  • Am I making enough income?
  • Do I have all the tools I need right now to achieve success?
  • Are there areas where I can do more for my business?
  • Do I want to work less and make more?

If so, you won’t want to miss what I’ll be dishing out on the Villa Marketers blog.

Thanks for commenting Kim. I posted the follow up to this, its the begining of an entrepreneur course. http://villamarketers.com/podcast/

I’ll be sharing all of my secrets in this series and tools. What I am hoping to do is connect all the dots and tie in much of our material on the blog, so the content is sort of a play by play book on how to be a succesful VR business owner.
